Day 01

  • Pick up at Fukuoka Airport/JR Hakata Station

  • Sake brewery tour at Sake brewery Isonosawa

  • Night strawberry picking

    Ukiha City is famous for its fruits.
    Peaches, pears, grapes, persimmons, and various other fruits are produced here.
    From late December to April, guests can enjoy private night strawberry picking tours in a greenhouse.
    Enjoy the delicious strawberries and the magical pitch-dark greenhouse.

    Sake Inn Isonosawa

    Sake Inn Isonosawa is now open in the renovated main building of Isonosawa Sake Brewery, with a restaurant on the first floor and accommodations on the second floor.
    Famous chefs from Tokyo and Fukuoka are invited to serve dishes using local ingredients.
    Farmers will personally describe each local ingredient.

    Enjoy Japanese cuisine prepared with a variety of fresh ingredients from Ukiha City and other parts of Fukuoka Prefecture, accompanied by a selection of specialty sake from Isonosawa Sake Brewery.
    President Nakagawa will talk about Isonosawa brewery, its sake, and the local culture and history, and Isonosawa’s special sake that can only be enjoyed here will be served.
    Overnight stay will be at “Harazuru no Mai”.

Day 02

  • Breakfast

    Breakfast will be served at the “Harazuru no Mai” inn, so guests can enjoy Japanese breakfast at their leisure.

  • Ukiha Inari Shrine

    Ukiha Inari Shrine is located on the northern slope of the Mino Mountain Range, south of Ukiha City.
    Red torii gates line the path all the way to the main shrine, from which guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the Ukiha Terroir.

  • Ichinose-yaki Marutagama

    Ichinose-yaki Marutagama has been specializing in folk art ceramics for more than 400 years, featuring the characteristics of the old Karatsu style.
    Salt glaze, a technique from Germany that uses salt instead of pigment, gives the pottery an unparalleled glossy appearance.

  • Akizuki Castle Ruins

    This castle town is located in the northern mountains of Asakura City.

  • Lunch and tea

    “There is a thatched hut near the Akizuki castle ruins.
    Famous chefs from Tokyo and Fukuoka are invited to prepare delicious dishes using local ingredients and sake from the Isonosawa sake brewery.”
    After lunch, guests will experience a tea ceremony (Urasenke) in the tea ceremony room.

    Visitors will enjoy a variety of cuisines (Japanese, creative Chinese, creative French) and an optional string quartet by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
