Amakusa porcelain stone transported to Shiota River Port is the raw material for Arita porcelain, and porcelain stone crushing workshops can still be found in Shiota.

This is a popular spot known as one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan (the other two are the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto and Kasama Inari Shrine in Ibaraki). The shrine was built in 1687 during the Edo period.
In recent years, it has been gaining popularity as a location for TV dramas in Thailand. The shrine is lit up in the evening from October to November, covered with snow around February, and surrounded by cherry blossoms from March to April.
Located in Furueda, Kashima City, adjacent to Ureshino City.

The technique has been handed down to the fourteenth generation as a family secret, resulting in the formula and technique of Akae (red, yellow, and green overglaze painting), a highly acclaimed method that has been designated as an important intangible cultural asset by the Japanese government.
