Raifuku Sake Brewery was founded in 1716 in Chikusei City, northwest of Mount Tsukuba. Since its founding, the brewery has used the brand name “Raifuku” to express its wish for good fortune to its customers, based on a famous haiku poem.
“The company is committed to producing sake of the highest quality, using only local sake rice and yeast from Ibaraki Prefecture (using natural flower yeast in most of its products), and aims to create innovative sake while maintaining the tradition of sake brewing.

Exclusively for brewery tour participants, the company is offering one brewing tank (Junmai Daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Junmai Sake, or several other types of sake) to be purchased in advance. When you arrive, you will be able to drink the freshly pressed sake that you purchased, and the rest will be pasteurized and sent to you in bottles with the label of your choice.
The cost includes the brewery tour, but includes the cost of rice and other raw materials, brewing cost, bottling, labeling, and filling costs. Transportation cost is not included.
Junmai Daiginjo/Junmai Ginjo/Junmaishu made from Yamada Nishiki rice is available.
